Drivers

A profile is a driver’s base, default van and licence. It is not what makes somebody a driver — that is one permission on their role, and nothing here changes it.

A profile records attributes, not who drives. What makes somebody a driver is the role they hold — a driver is a member without work:read_all, which is what narrows their board to their own journeys. Settings shows which roles hold it. Removing somebody from the organisation retires their profile; nothing is destroyed. Open a profile to change its base, its usual van or its licence, and to retire it.
